  • The goal of the MSN CI orientation is to provide participants with the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for success in their roles. By focusing on these areas, we aim to foster confidence and competence, ensuring that each individual is well-prepared to thrive in their position.

Learning Objectives

1. Developing and implementing effective online teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning styles and promote critical thinking in nursing practice.

2. Promoting cultural competence and inclusivity in clinical education by recognizing and addressing diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences of students.

3. Implementing strategies to create a supportive and respectful online learning environment that values diversity and equity.

4. Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in online education, clinical instruction, and emerging healthcare trends.

5. Participating in peer collaborations and networking opportunities to enhance teaching effectiveness and contribute to the broader nursing education community.

6. Designing and applying valid and reliable assessment methods to evaluate student performance and competency in clinical skills.

7. Utilizing formative and summative evaluation strategies to provide constructive feedback that fosters student growth and learning.

8. Demonstrating proficiency in using various digital tools and platforms (e.g., Learning Management Systems, virtual simulations, and telehealth technologies) to enhance clinical education.
