NC ALLERGY ASTHMA AND IMMUNOLOGY 2023 ANNUAL MEETING

- The North Carolina Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology Society is pleased to announce its 2023 Annual Meeting. The target audience for this meeting includes Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology physicians and extenders in private practice and in academic medicine, residents and fellows in training, physician assistants, and midlevel providers. This educational activity will update attendees on the latest medical knowledge available from medical literature, clinical experience and research, to keep practitioners on the forefront of new discoveries and their application to the practice of AAI for the benefit of their patients.

Learning Objectives
1. Discuss important advances in the treatment of allergy, asthma, and immunology.
2. Learn methods of interpretation of allergy testing.
3. To understand latest changes in interpretation of spirometry measurements in patients who may have asthma.
4. Review evaluation and management of immune deficiencies.
5. To better understand the approach to diagnosis and management of patients with symptoms suggestive of mast cell activation syndrome.
6. Improve treatment and understanding of best methods of allergy testing for contact dermatitis.
7. To review advances in food allergy management and oral immunotherapy.
