The goal of the North Carolina Dermatology Association (NCDA) meeting is to keep its attendees up to date on new developments and research so that attendees can incorporate what they have learned into clinical practice. Two NCDA meetings are held per year. Attendees are surveyed at the conclusion of each meeting to obtain their knowledge gaps and needs. Peer-reviewed medical journals used most frequently in presentations include the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, Journal of Investigative Dermatology and Contact Dermatitis.
