ForwardNC NEUROLOGICAL SOCIETY 2023 ANNUAL MEETING
February 10, 2023 to February 12, 2023
- The purpose of the NC Neurological Society Meeting is to provide high-yield clinically relevant updates on major topics in the practice of neurology to practitioners in the state of North Carolina (and externally) including physicians, advanced practice providers, and trainees. At the end of the conference, attendees should have gained new knowledge, acquired new approaches to delivering neurological care, identified new colleagues, and increased their competence and confidence for managing clinically relevant condition in neurological practice.

Learning Objectives
1. Use diagnostic tools to evaluate and manage a patient with suspect normal pressure hydrocephalus
2. Identify racial and ethnic variations in clinical trial enrollment and use this when interpreting a clinical trial result
3. Describe new approaches to the use of next-generation sequencing for patients with pediatric movement disorders
4. Recognize the recent changes to the diagnostic classification of brain tumors and use this to guide counseling of patients
5. Discuss important advances in the treatment of stroke, neuromuscular medicine, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis
