NC & SC Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery 2022 Assembly
The NC/SC Annual Meeting is focused on presenting a series of clinically relevant talks and panel discussions for otolaryngologists in NC and SC. Attendees have the opportunity to earn CME after attending these lectures, and also have the opportunity to interact with resident physicians. The mix of private practice and academic otolaryngologists fosters multidisciplinary discussion. Additionally, practice and legislative updates are provided in an effort to keep everyone abreast of important updates.

Learning Objectives
Knowledge Need: Up to date medical knowledge of surgical hearing restoration options (Osseo integrated Implants, Ossicular Chain Reconstruction, cochlear implantation) with data on recent advances will allow participants a better understanding surgical hearing restoration options and appreciate current and emerging treatment strategies.
Performance Need: Focus on procedure, intervention and application of facial reconstruction, facial paralysis and its perception and impact on QoL. Select sessions will reinforce patient care and specifically procedural skills.
Competence Need: Additional focus discussion on the evolving based value care and its impact on health care delivery will emphasis provide an overview of population health, social determinants of health, laws and regulations. This is foster an understand of need for alternative approaches and strategies when engaging the value based care paradigm
