NC SOCIETY OF EYE PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS 2024 ANNUAL MEETING

The purpose of this activity is to discuss topics relevant to the practice of ophthalmology so that attendees can use the information to improve patient care. Through their lectures, the faculty will present the most up to date information and discuss state of the art techniques for treating various ocular conditions with the goal of increasing scientific knowledge of meeting participants. The panel discussions will allow attendees to interact with the faculty and fill knowledge gaps.

Learning Objectives
- Attendees will be able to describe current myopia prevalence, change over time, and risk factors.
- They will be familiar with the major low-dose atropine studies including dosing and duration of treatment.
- They will become familiar with side effects, rebound myopia, and techniques to monitor for effectiveness.
