Target Audience

Nurses

Learning Objectives

  • Learners will develop an understanding of the history and importance of mentoring in the role of nurse leader.
  • Discuss and review best practices to support the mentees professional development.
  • The participant will learn strategies to optimize creating a professional development plan with measurable goals to support their growth, development, and career planning.
  • The participant will identify strategic initiatives that both the mentee and mentor can incorporate into their practice to optimize the mentorship relationship.
