ONCOPRIMARY CARE IN THE COMMUNITY SETTING
Scotland Cancer Treatment Center is an affiliate of the Duke Cancer Network. SCTC is a component of Scotland Health, and their providers fall under Scotland Physician Network. SCTC is staffed with oncology generalists to care for a variety of cancer types. These patients are in a rural underserved setting, and many are unable to travel to receive specialty care. Oncoprimary care is a collaborative effort between primary care and oncologists, used to improve management and outcomes. Oncoprimary care education for SPN community providers supports the DCN's mission to improve the quality of cancer care at Scotland Health and in the community setting.
