ORTHOPAEDIC DEPARTMENTAL RESEARCH DAY AND SYMPOSIUM, J. LEONARD GOLDNER VISITING PROFESSORSHIP
The Duke Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is hosting its 6th Annual Departmental Research Day and Symposium on Thursday, May 9, 2024. This event will start at 8:00 AM and is scheduled to conclude by 4:30 PM. The eight (8) graduating chief residents will present their Senior Thesis. There will be six (6) faculty presenting their research and a symposium "100 Years of Duke" featuring Doctors Richard (Rick) Lieber, PhD and Todd McKinley, MD

The objectives are to provide participants with the ongoing research being developed that may include the following areas; clinical research, populations, policy, and implementation research, movement sciences, kinesiology, and rehabilitation research, musculoskeletal bioengineering, regeneration and repair research, and cell, genetic, and developmental biology research.
