Pediatrics Restorative Practice Ambassador Program 2025 (Session 2)
The program we propose includes the following 5 aims: • Increase the capacity within the department to deploy Tier 1 RJ practices by training RJ advocates (the Pediatrics Justice League, or PJL) from different divisions and work areas • Support the PJL to integrate community building/Tier 1 Circles into existing structures and to identify and refer harm situations to Tier 2 team • Empower those who are not traditionally seen as leaders to join the PJL and lead Tier 1 community building circles • Develop a repository of resources that can be shared with the PJL including facilitator guides and check-in/check-out tools • Provide ongoing peer support and mentoring for the PJL through regular reflective debriefs held after completion of training.
