August 19, 2021

Caring for patients and their families at the end of life means that health care professionals are constantly in the presence of loss. Although we use strategies to remain professional and mitigate the impact of loss, it can have a cumulative effect. In addition, the overwhelming influence of COVID-19 has had an effect on our personal and professional lives through unwelcomed limitations, numerous changes and overall stress.
