This webinar series is designed to support the efforts of the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) to improve the psychological health and traumatic brain injury system of prevention and care.

This training presentation will provide guidance on selecting evaluation designs and questions to meet a program’s evaluation goals. In addition, it will describe important considerations for selecting measurement strategies and metrics. Topics will include evaluation design, key concepts in measurement, choosing what to measure, measure selection and development, and common challenges that program personnel face when implementing measurement strategies.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Choose an appropriate evaluation design and develop evaluation questions
  • Explain how metrics and measurement strategies are used in program evaluation and improvement efforts
  • Demonstrate knowledge of important considerations for selecting or developing measures
  • Select and implement strategies to address common measurement challenges

CONTINUING EDUCATION:

Continuing education credit is available from Duke Medicine. You must register on or before 3 p.m. (EST) on Feb. 17, 2015, to qualify for receipt of continuing education credit.
