Prostate Cancer [Enduring]

  • The Oncology interdisciplinary team is facing ongoing challenges due to rapidly evolving treatment protocols, including chemotherapy and other therapeutic modalities, alongside shifting standards of care. Identified gaps include the inconsistent application of evidence-based guidelines resulting in incongruent resources. Staff who care for oncology patients face this and require additional resources and support to effectively manage patient care.

  • Identifying the common types, risk factors, and symptoms of head and neck cancers.

  • Discussing standard treatment approaches such as surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy based on disease presentation
  • Analyzing how tumor location, stage, and patient-specific factors influence treatment decisions
  • Recognizing urgent complications associated with head and neck cancers and explaining initial management strategies.
