Sickle Cell Disease 101

October 28, 2025 to November 11, 2025

Learners will receive Sickle Cell Disease basics, including triggers, treatments, disparities in obtaining the highest quality healthcare, and Evidence-based practices for these patients. This knowledge will enable them to better serve patients, inform and educate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure that patients are connected to SCD providers and clinics before leaving their Primary Care Provider appointment, as NC has a very high prevalence of the SCD population.
