Smoking Cessation for Student Health

This is a 2.0 credit hour course for practitioners at Duke University Student Health to learn how to provide evidence-based tobacco use treatment. This clinic is anticipating an increase in students seeking services in advance of the campus' policy change disallowing tobacco use on campus beginning July 1, 2020. This course will cover recent evidence for more intensive tobacco use treatment and how to adapt this treatment to apply to individuals in emerging adulthood.
