Sports MSK Ultrasound Diagnosis and Injections: A Live Model and Cadaver Course

August 3, 2017 to August 4, 2017

This is a hands on course with live models as well as US guided injections in the Duke Cadaver Lab.  The course is limited to 20 participants with a 2:1 ratio of participants to US machines to ensure significant hands on scalling time

Target Audience

This activity is intended for orthopedic surgeons, radiologiest, specialist in sports medicine and primary care physicians

Learning Objectives

At the Conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify standard protocols for ultrasound images to include, examination of the various joints of the body
  2. Identify standard protocols for ultrasound guided procedures
  3. Discuss the indications and limitations of MSK ultrasound imaging.
