This course will introduce participants to the HOPE (Honor, Obligation, Purpose, and Empowerment) framework used by the office of Rear Admiral and Chief Nursing Officer of the U.S. Public Health Service, Jennifer Moon, DNP, MPH, MSN, FNP-BC. Topics will include the US Surgeon General and Chief Nursing Officer priorities, the state of the North Carolina nursing workforce, World Health Organization's Global Partnership for Nursing and Midwifery and State of the World's (SoWN) 2020 Priorities
