Surgical Endoscopy Series Ep. 1: An Introduction to Surgical Endoscopy
In their BTK debut, the Surgical Endoscopy team from Endeavor Health (formerly Northshore University Health System) discusses why it is important for surgeons to acquire basic and advanced endoscopic skills. There are an increasing number of ways to endoscopically intervene and solve problems that were traditionally relegated to open and minimally invasive surgery. The Surg Endo team presents a number of case-based scenarios that are going to set the stage for future discussions about the role of therapeutic endoscopy in surgical practice.
