Third International Symposium on Pediatric Renovascular Hypertension
The Third International Symposium on Pediatric Renovascular Hypertension brings together affected families and world-renowned surgeons, nephrologists, cardiologists, and general pediatricians to advance the care of pRVH through scientific presentations, panel discussions, and collaborative working groups. As an attendee of the Symposium, you will learn about the latest technology, methods, and advancements in pRVH treatments that will help improve patient outcomes and the personal experiences of patients and families. Course Objectives: After attending, participants should be able to: 1. Outline the anatomical and physiological indicators of pRVH and associated symptomatology 2. Identify medical and surgical best-practice approaches to the management of pRVH through the lens of holistic treatment 3. Working group sessions will create conceptual models for facilitating earlier diagnosis, identifying best practices, and reducing barriers to care. PCOR Day will take place in the Ambassador room at the Washington Duke Inn and include breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks. All sessions can be attended virtually. The event closes on day three, Scientific Day, during which presentations and panel discussions will be held on research and innovations relating to pathogenesis, pathophysiology, associated/concurrent pathologies, genotypic treatment challenges, and monitoring and treatment strategies. Scientific Day sessions will take place in The Great Hall at the Trent Semans Center for Health Education. Breakfast, lunch, coffee, and breaks will be provided. Sessions will not be recorded.
