Triangle Regional Lecture Education Series - November 13, 2018

This is a tri-annual meeting between Duke Health System Anesthesiologists and University of North Carolina Anesthesiologists to discuss recent advances and literature in Regional Anesthesia. These meetings are presented by regional anesthesia fellows with the support of faculty mentors and are attended by faculty, fellows, and residents.
Target Audience
The target audience is anesthesiologists (particularly those trained in regional anesthesia) from Duke Heatlh (DUH, DRaH,and DRH) and UNC Hospital, as well as regional anesthesia fellows and anesthsia residents in training.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify new approaches to regional anesthetic techniques, and the advances in needle and ultrasound technologies to improve quality and safety regional blocks.
- Identify advances in local anesthetics, multi-modal pain therapies to improve post-operative pain control for patients.
