Vitaltalk Practice 4- Mapping Values, Aligning and Planning- Role Play
This is a blended (combination asynchronous and in-person) version of the VitalTalk course,which addresses conversations with patients and family members around serious illness. Participants will first view the 30 min pre-recorded didactic. In this one hour follow up session, we will use role play with simulated patients and facilitated feedback to practice the MAP elements of the REMAP talking map including exploring a patient/family's values, formulating a plan concordant with those values and goals, and presenting recommendations.
