Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

·        To define left ventricular noncompaction (LVNC) and understand the clinical significance of the disease

·        To determine how both echocardiography and cardiac MRI can be used to diagnose LVNC

·        To review guidelines on diagnosis and apply them to clinical patient cases
