At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

·         Demonstrate the importance of knowing pre-test probability and test performance characteristics

·         Discuss tools for calculating pre-test probability in patients presenting with acute chest pain

·         Discuss performance characteristics of cardiovascular imaging tests
