Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

·        Examine the current heart failure staging system and its relation with structural heart disease.

·        Understanding how novel methods of cardiovascular imaging may redefine the meaning of structural and functional heart disease.

·        Recognize how reclassification of patients within the heart failure staging system may impact heart failure prevention and progression.
