Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:
· Review functional anatomy of mitral valve
· Highlight general principals and potential pitfalls of mitral valve imaging with a focus on echocardiography
· Discuss how echocardiography informs the conceptual approach to treating patients with mitral
regurgitation.
