Increase prescriber knowledge /acceptance of both ACC/AHA and ADA guidelines related to lipid management in the diabetes population.

Learning Objectives

Discuss the ACC/AHA recommendations for lipid management in patients with diabetes.
Review the Pooled Cohort Equations Risk Assessment.
Discuss  pharmacological/pharmacokinetic differences between statins and how to overcome statin intolerance.
