Duke Sports MSK Ultrasound Diagnosis & Injections: A Live Model & Cadaver Course

August 4, 2016 to August 5, 2016

This is a hands on course with live models as well as US Guided injections in the Duke Cadaver Lab.  The course is limited to 20 participants with a 2:1 ratio of participants to US machine to ensure significant hands on scanning time.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify standard protocols for ultrasound images to include, examination of the various joints of the body.
  • Identify standard protocols for ultrasound guided procedures
  • Discuss the indications and limitations of MSK ultrasound imaging
