Objectives:

1. Understand the anatomy and physiology of the nose and paranasal sinuses

2.  Be able to differentiate between rhinitis, acute sinusitis and chronic sinusitis 

3.  Understand the work-up, treatment and referral of sinonasal disorders

4.  Recognize conditions commonly mistaken for sinusitis
