Through attendance at this session participants will be able to: 

  • Understand cause of deformational plagiocephaly and brachycephaly
  • Differentiate deformational plagiocephaly and brachycephaly from craniosynostosis
  • Understand risk factors for deformational plagiocephaly and brachycephaly and how to preemptively reduce them
  • Understand basics of repositional molding
  • Understand indications for and timing of helmet-based orthotic molding
