Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, the learner will be able to:

  • Determine appropriateness of genomic testing, including who should have testing and what test is most fitting.
  • Provide information about genomics, disease risk, and testing in a patient-friendly manner and being able to tailor that information for each patient.
  • Execute inter-disciplinary practice and recognize each provider’s roles within inter-disciplinary practice during the genomic testing process
