Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, learners will be able to:
1. Identify and describe the basic knowledge that provides healthcare professionals with a common vocabulary and understanding of data-information-knowledge frameworks.
2. Describe and discuss clinical decision making systems and understand the development of clinical processes that support effective, efficient, and safe patient-centered care.
3. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to participate in the development and selection of an information system for clinicians.
4. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills in the evaluation of user-interface design.
