During the RELATE – Words That Work Workshop, the participants will:
- Understand the differences between the emotional and clinical needs of patients
- Identify and apply effective communication skills
- Practice using Words That Work to relieve patient anxiety and increase understanding
Learn and use the RELATE model, which includes active listening techniques for reducing patient anxiety and promoting safety, satisfaction and loyalty.
