Geri Kanne,
Geri Kanne, ANP-BC, GS-C, is an adult nurse practitioner who specializes in the care of older adults. She holds a joint position with Population Health Management Office and the division of geriatrics with Duke Health. She works with HOPE in Primary Care, helping primary care clinics strengthen their care of older adults. She works at the Geriatrics Evaluation and Treatment Clinic, where she sees complex older adults and those at high risk for falls.
Susan Tucker,
Susan Tucker is the Evidence Based Health Program Coordinator at the Kerr-Tar Area Agency on Aging, where she manages proven wellness programs for older adults. She developed a love of adult learning during a successful Learning & Development career with an international retailer, where she created and delivered training tools, conferences and presentations for groups nationally and internationally. She left retail to apply her skills to the human services field, and spent seven years in senior services, gaining hands-on experience with older adults in the Kerr-Tar Region and developing a unique understanding of the challenges older adults face.
