DCHI Short Course for FDA 2018-2019
Given the rapid expansion of the FDA's knowledge base and the growing importance of information technology in healthcare, the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research has been tasked with providing employees enrichment in the field of HIT. Through an academic alliance with Duke University, the Duke Center of Health Informatics FDA Short Course has been designed to provide employees with the tools needed to convert regulatory science data into actionable intelligence. This FDA Short Course will run (Fall 2018-2019) and is comprised of Sessions 1-6, or six separate sessions (3 hours each) conducted once a month (October 2018-April 2019). The sessions are designed to address challenges and provide education in various informatics topics critical for those who are responsible for implementing informatics platforms within their organization.
Target Audience
This course is designed for physicians (primary care, specialty), and nurses (advanced practice, registered nurses) who are responsible for implementing informatics platforms in their organizations. Primary Care Physicians, Speciality Physicians, Advanced Practice Nurses, Registered Nurses. All specialities.
