The presentation will provide learners with practice criteria for use of selenium in nutrition therapy.  The review will include selenium function, body distribution, pharmacokinetics,  and requirements (RDA/upper limit), dietary sources/oral supplement forms, identifying deficiency, toxicity and treatment, and therapeutic uses of selenium using evidenced based results​.
