As a result of attending this session attendees will list, identify, and describe the types implicit biases that exist, identify personal biases and potential biases that physical therapists are likely to encounter. Also, describe ways that biases can positively or negatively impact patient interventions and outcomes, and plan and consider appropriate structures that should be in place to help mitigate these biases in clinical decision making and education.
