As a result of attending this session, attendees will be able to describe connections between early language environments and outcomes in cognitive development, school readiness, academic achievement, occupational status, and health and social wellbeing later in life; describe the Thirty Million Words translational research program curriculum as well as research study results; and list benefits of a public health approach to early learning, as well as interventions that utilize existing systems for public health education.
