Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to understand:
· Understand the mechanisms and natural history of functional tricuspid regurgitation associated with left-sided heart disease.
· Learn the basic echocardiographic assessment of tricuspid regurgitation, including its usefulness in guiding surgical planning.
· Review the percutaneous therapies that are in development for the treatment of functional tricuspid regurgitation.
