- Once monthly 1 CME credit hour events directed toward advanced practice providers as well as pharmacists and registered nurses who care for all patients treated at Duke Cancer Institute.

Learning Objectives
1.Identify anemias in regards to cell size- microcytic, macrocytic, normocytic, and common etiologies for each.
2.Calculate iron deficits and replete iron deficiency with iron infusions
3. Identify in the cancer patient when thrombocytopenia may not be treatment related and requires more evaluation.
4. Consider other contributing causes of anemia in the cancer patient.
