We do not currently have a formal training for TeamSTEPPS in our ambulatory care system at Duke Private Diagnostic Clinics (PDC). While we are trained in the hospital version of Team STEPPS, we will learn and apply concepts are more specific to ambulatory care. In addition to addressing the need for a formal program, we will target teamwork skills related to our recent SCORE results; managing disagreements, speaking up, getting feedback from leadership, and resilience.
